John Meyers, WK Webster (Overseas) Ltd
John Meyers has been at WK Webster (Overseas) Ltd since 2013 and has focused exclusively on handling cargo recovery claims, be it by sea, land, or air. He works almost exclusively on behalf of underwriters and brokers, and specializes in refrigerated container losses (seafood, meats, produce). Previously he had worked as a claims handler at Hapag-Lloyd, defending and rejecting most of the claims submitted by customers, insurers, and recovery agents he himself now submits to them. John has made successful recoveries for cargo losses on all seven continents, and regularly attends most industry events in New York.
