Remote option only Overview: This virtual course will cover the basic underwriting concepts related to Static Risk exposures for cargo taken out of the due course of transit and stored in warehouses or storage facilities. Items covered will be Underwriting considerations, COPE, clause/form language, risk management techniques, warehouse provider contractual obligations, NAT CAT considerations and claims amongst others. Case studies will be reviewed to provide practical knowledge and application of the material. Instructors will also share best practices for successful underwriting of this class. Who Should Attend: Insurance company underwriters, trainees, claims personnel, surveyors, agents or brokers, shipowners, charterers and maritime attorneys and others in the marine insurance industry.
