About the AIMU Virtual Classroom
AIMU utilizes the GoToWebinar and GoToTraining platforms, which allow full attendee engagement through Q&A and chat panels, and interactive polling with video engaged for all instructors. Attendees can ask questions in real time and share experience and information with other students in the class. Classes are instructed by subject matter experts who are leaders in their individual fields.

• Overview - definition and philosophy of Ethics; code of behavior; ethics v. morals
• Organizations devoted to Ethics
• Statutes/Regulations/Codes?
• Ethical duties – to whom?
• Duty of Competence, diligence and no undue influence
• Duty of loyalty; conflicts of interest
• Duty of good faith and fair dealing
• Fiduciary duties
• Truth in advertising
• Disclosure of compensation
• Civility
• Potential consequences of ethical violations

Who Should Attend: Underwriter, broker, claims adjuster, agent, broker, attorney and any professional in a related marine insurance profession.
